Dundee is voted as Britain’s top student town.

It may not surprise you to know that Dundee has just been voted as the joint winner of a poll to find the best student town in the UK. The city beat off competition from more historically academic places such as Oxford and Cambridge to take the top spot along with Edinburgh and Glasgow with the only city outside Scotland scoring as highly as Dundee being Sheffield.
The results were generated from a poll of nearly 42,000 students across the UK who were asked to rate things such as shopping, transport links, social life, community and facilities.
This poll is just another accolade that strengthens Dundee’s position as a city that is committed to providing world class further education.
