So extreme was the shock that a bus arrived at the Tealing bus stop 2 minutes early on Tuesday morning that the bus promptly caught fire. The A90 was temporarily closed southbound whilst two fire engines and a police car attended the scene. The fire was promptly extinguished and another bus eventually picked up the passengers who were standing at the roadside, dropping them off in Dundee approximately 35 minutes later than expected restoring order to the universe.
